Our Story
FROM SCRATCH SINCE 2011
Hopfields opened on Guadalupe St in November 2011 as a French brasserie and bar. Sauces, stocks and desserts are still made in our own kitchen, and the specials change every week.
The bar pours a rotating list of craft beer next to French wine and cocktails. Every year we host the Pils Off, and in 2026 we added the Hop-Off, a free IPA fest where the public votes on local breweries.
You'll find us just up Guadalupe from the UT campus and West Campus, and minutes from Hyde Park, North University, Bryker Woods, Pemberton Heights, Rosedale, Hancock, Tarrytown, Clarksville, North Loop, Mueller and downtown.
